DO PEOPLE TELL YOU THAT YOU ARGUE TOO MUCH?

CALL 310-276-1342 for more information

It's Holiday time and perhaps you are finding yourself behaving in ways that seem out of control. You may have noticed that your behavior is having a negative impact on your relationships and important parts of your every day life.

Did you know that if a person is bored, sad or feeling anxious, stress can stimulate neurotransmitter activity which provides a thrilling euphoria. Yes, the stress of the holidays, for some people, can act as a "high". The stress of the Holidays for some people, can make them feel alive and give people a sense of purpose. But, what is the pay-off?....Ultimately, too much stress is destructive.

Stress contributes to a decrease in one's immune system, stomach problems, headaches, and anger and rage. Stress can manifest in road rage and an overload of too much to get done, so that accidents can easily happen when someone is in a hurry. Stress can accelerate the amount of alcohol and drugs a person desires, eventually finding themselves using one or the other, or perhaps both, as anesthesia to take away discomfort from physical and mental overload. Yes, stress is an excuse to smoke too much and spend too much.

Anger Management Services provides confidential and individual sessions working with adults and adolescents, court-mandated persons, recovering addicts and people experiencing daily frustrations and stress in business and personal situations.

Before you find yourself manifesting your stress in self-destructive ways,
