What happens in a family when one member has a temper or is raging at the drop of a hat? Everyone in the family is affected in one way or another, and everyone can help determine whether the situation gets worse or better.

The anger problem belongs to the person who is out of control. Because you care about that person, the way they act affects how you feel and may affect how you behave towards other family members and people you come in contact with on a daily basis. Verbal abuse might even be present. Do you wish the "angry person" would change and fear for the whole family if the problem continues?

Denying that there is a problem or dismissing the problem as a small one enables the angry familly member to keep on with their unhealthy behavior. In addition, their behavior has a snow ball affect, and soon you become a mirror image of what you see in that person. Anger can be infectious.

If you wish to find out how you can assist that family member in their personal growth and help yourself at the same time, Call Karen Golob at 310-276-1342
